Locally-owned fast casual restaurant Spring Chicken values Southern hospitality and natural, organically sourced food. For their flagship location in Coral Gables, Surface Workshop completed millwork, metalwork and upholstery for the restaurant. In the main dining area Surface Workshop built the condiment station with unique shelves floating from the ceiling. Other elements by Surface Workshop include counter and tabletops throughout the dining area and kitchen, as well as upholstered banquettes and dining benches. The use of distressed and finely finished wood provide a rustic ambience for the fledgling, new restaurant concept. Surface Workshop continues to work with Spring Chicken, and completed work for their Fort Lauderdale location.
